Win for Life was played in Virginia and Georgia. It is now retired. It replaced the old Lotto South game which ran from September 2001 through February 2006. For the top prize, the winner received $1000 per week in quarterly payments for life. The first draw was on March 1, 2006, and draws are held on Wednesday and Saturday at 11:00pm. The last draw was held on Sept 13, 2014. Players chose 6 numbers from a pool of 42 numbers. On draw day, 6 numbers plus a FreeBall are drawn from the pool of 42 numbers. The new lottery which replaced Win for Life is the $1,000,000 Money Ball.
